选项分析：

(A)double the apples that it has

【错误1】 比较结构：“double”不等于“twice as many as”，本选项“double”的语法不正确。

【错误2】 动词时态：“has”的时态与“in 1910”不搭配。

(B)twice as many apples as it did

【正确】 本选项正确使用了“as(so)……as……”的比较句式，补齐省略部分，比较结构应为“the same amount of acreage produces twice as many apples as it(指代‘the same amount of acreage’)produced apples(选项中省略为‘did’) in 1910”。
