WHat previous research and leadership experience do you have, and how has it
prepared you for success?
Have you overcome any hardships or obstacles that shows your determination
and passion (may also be used to explain any gaps or poor metrics in your
academic record)?
How do your research interests fit with the interests of faculty in the
program?
