Well, when it comes to the situation of being late for a certain occasion, I must admit, sometimes I have had this experience in the past. And it seemed that no matter how early I get up or how fast I run, there is always something wrong with me. So, let me tell you about one of the most memorable times that I was late.

It was last month that I met with my friends at a restaurant. We agreed to meet each other at half-past six. Since it was a long time that we hadn’t seen each other, I wanted to arrive early to have a chat with them. However, I took a different bus from usual carelessly and found myself heading in the wrong direction. I realized the mistake quickly and got off the bus at the next stop. I had to wait for another bus to come, and it was very crowded due to the rush hour. When I got to the restaurant, I was already half an hour late.

I immediately apologized to my friends and explained my situation. Luckily, they are very tolerant and kind, and they forgave me easily. However, I couldn't help feeling guilty and sorry for the inconvenience I had caused.

After that experience, I promised myself to always be more careful with my time management, especially when it comes to important meetings with my friends.

That's my experience of being late, and I wish to never let it happen again.
