Noise

Do you mind noises?

Yes, traffic noise has a huge influence on me and this may lead to permanent hearing loss. Actually, I’m quite sensitive to this kind of sound. For this reason, even the sound of a car alarm in the next street can wake me up at midnight.

Are there any sounds that you like?

Well, I’m fairly keen on listening bird singing, especially in the morning. Though birds are using their voice to impress mates and proclaim territories, the lovely sound can still comfort my mind and keep me in good mood all day.

Being in a hurry

What kinds of things will you never do in a hurry?

If I’m going on holiday I always try to pack my bags diligently, usually by setting some time aside and doing it well in advance. As a consequence, there's nothing worse than arriving to your destination without something you really need, or even worse, getting to the airport and realizing you don’t have your passport!

Pollution

Is there anything being polluted in your hometown?

My hometown is a small city located in the north of Fujian Province. There is a river which was clean and very beautiful. Many people liked swimming there in the summer. However, about five years ago, some factories were built near the river and all the polluted water was discharged into the river. The river smells terrible now and no one goes swimming there anymore.

History

Do you think history is important/interesting?

Yes. I love history very much. According to my first history teacher, there are many branches in history including war history, political History, economic, social, international and ancient. Moreover, my favorite is the Chinese ancient history.
