Time spent together with family members is always a reminder(提醒) of happiness. Never will I forget the beautiful days with my mom. From the time of my birth, mom plays a significant(重大的) role in my life. The dining table is always spread with delicious food. From changing my diapers(尿布) to paying my school and college fee, mom does every possible thing to provide me an easier and comfortable life. So the family member I have spent the most time with surely is my mom. Mom worries about my safety all the time. In her eyes, I will always be a little girl who never grows up, especially when we dine out. “Is the food clean? Would it give you pains in the stomach?” She also worries about the weather. “Is it too cold and wet? Put on more clothes to prevent the cold.” She cares so much about me, she couldn’t love me more. When do we spend time together? Well, I would say mostly it’s in the evening. Why do we spend so much time together? Because we have the similar interests and our personalities fit for each other, and also because mom has given me too much, it’s time to repay(报答) her now. There are lots of things we enjoy doing together, for example watching movies or accompanying(陪伴) her for a walk after dinner. Like everyone, my mom has a few movies, which she made me watch when I was a kid. Now it's time to bring back(使回忆起来) those memories and watch those movies again with her. But every time mom just smiles, and sometimes there are tears in her eyes. I know they are tears of happiness.

The family member I spent the most time with is definitely my father. When I was younger, my father and I used to play ping pong a lot. Usually, my mother would either be cooking, or cleaning up the rooms. My father went back home after work and we would spend a lot of time just playing while my mother did housework. Now, I am grown up and don't have as much time to spend with my family. But when I do, it is usually with my father. We don't play ping pong much any more, but we do spend a lot of time talking just before and after dinner. We sit at the table and talk about world politics, social issues, and anything else that might be in the news. Meanwhile, my mother continues to do the same things, such as preparing dinner, cleaning up houses, and listening to what my father and I talk. My father is an interesting man. He likes to read, and he is always very curious about what I am studying. We have long conversations in which I spend a lot of time both listening and expressing my point of view. I appreciate(欣赏，感激) that my father is a curious man, even about things that don't really have anything to do with his life. I spend so much time with him because, in that way, I want to be the man like him.
