I would like to describe a meal that I invited others to in a restaurant. I remember once I invited my tutor to have supper. I entered a venture contest and organized a team. After finishing our initial projection, we decided that because we did not have the right and accurate judgments by ourselves, it was better to ask our tutor’s advice. Therefore, we invited her to be the conductor of our group. She had pointed out the highlights and the drawbacks of our project and the paper. Although she was busy on her job and research, she arranged time to help us. Finally, our team got good grades in the competition and won the third prize. I thought it was necessary to invite her for dinner to show our gratitude to her. We do not need to wine and dine to treat someone to expensive food and drink)her in someplace luxurious, but just need to fit her tastes. Since she prefers to eat in places which are romantic and have soft music, I chose to eat in a small café opened by a German in my school. As soon as my class ended, I went to the café to find a comfortable seat and waited for her. About 10 minutes later, she arrived. We ordered cups of coffee and some pieces of bread which were both the special dishes of the café. My tutor did enjoy herself having the supper. She talked about some of her former students who had joined such venture contests as us and what kinds of projects they had made. I learned a lot about their creative thoughts and thought of what progress I and my group could make. We also talked about some relaxing topics, such as holidays, hobbies and our hometowns. We had a good time having supper together.
