【Part2】Describe an important job in your country4

A painter is sometimes regarded by some people as a useless man. But I don’t think so since every occupation has its own significance. I remember when I travelled to Paris three years ago, I had a pleasant conversation with a painter there. It was a beautiful spring afternoon, the sun was shining brightly and I was walking across the street to Montmartre. Then I saw a painter on the hill. He was painting the wonderful view under his feet. I had never met a real painter before so I was soon attracted by him. I walked towards him and wanted to take a glance at the art-in-progress （正在进行）on his canvas（画布）. He soon noticed me and smiled. I felt a little embarrassed but he said hello to me which broke the ice between us. We had a brief conversation and he showed me his picture. I found that stokes of his picture are thin and realistic, but he wasn’t using the exact color to depict things as they were. The colors he used were surreal, unlike the quite peaceful scene in front of us. After the appreciation of his art piece, we went to a nearby café for a drink. Through more conversation between us, I learned that he had travel the whole continent and he would draw a piece of art wherever he went. He used different colors to create a world he imagined. What he said impressed me the most is that it’s easy to replicate the scene you see, but it’s much more difficult to replicate the world you imagine. Painters provided us a different perspectives to see the world and because of them, our world becomes colorful and full of imaginary.
