Jessica used to be my co-worker. After getting married, she became a housewife. As a crazy fan of Master Chef (顶级厨师), that gives her a lot of time to invent more special dishes. Every day, she downloaded some recipes and process from the internet and try them out through trial and error (反复试验). She is such an expert in cooking various Chinese household dishes (家常菜) , and some of her signature dishes (招牌菜)are braised pork with brown sauce (红烧肉), sweet and sour ribs (糖醋排骨) and some stuff like that (and so on).Once, I visited her home with my boyfriend, an Austrian guy who is into Chinese cuisine, visited my home. As is known to all, Chinese cuisine enjoys a high reputation all over the world for its perfect combination of color, aroma (香, flavor)and taste. That day, She cooked several quintessential (典型的,typical) Chinese dishes to treat them, and my boyfriend said he couldn’t get enough of (怎么也吃不够) her palatable (美味的, delicious) sweet and sour ribs! It’s crispy (脆的)from outside and tender (嫩的) from inside, and the thickness of the sweet and sour sauce added a finishing touch (画龙点睛)! Now, Jessica is pregnant (怀孕), but she said she wanted to open her own restaurant after delivering. I’m deeply convinced that with outstanding skills and great passion, she will be a second to none (首屈一指的) chef.
