【Part2】Describe a situation that someone gave you suggestion3

As an old saying goes, never too old to learn, I’m always willing to consider other people’s advice. Here is the unforgettable one I would like share with.

I still remember that at the very beginning, I did not do well in English, especially the oral part while other course such Science or Literature were outstanding. Gradually, I got to realize that it was my poor oral English that accounted for my nervousness which me dare not to speak in front of people and made me extremely blush and stutter. In order to get me out of the trap, my English teacher offered me some pertinent advice. The most impressive one was to suggesting me taking part in some practice-English activities such as English corner. I still remembered that I was attracted and my interest was captured and I could not wait to participate. From then on, I took part in the conversations in English corner on a regular basis. Influenced by the friendly atmosphere and the enthusiasm of the other participants, I felt relaxed while talking with strangers and making new friends. With the time passing by, finally I made a hug progress in my oral English. Meanwhile, I managed to ace the English test and to reap well deserved developments. Up till now, I don’t even know how to express my gratitude to my English teacher. Right now I am confident to talk with foreigners and not feel shy anymore.

We may receive many pieces of advices from others such as our family, friends, teachers or so. The most important thing is that we ought to absorb the essence which fits us perfectly.
