You should say

What book it was
When you read it
Why you read it
And explain what you liked and (possibly) disliked about the book.

Harry Potter was long my beloved book in my childhood. I was fascinated by its magic world and the marvelous plot. I can almost say that all the kids was a big fan of “Harry Potter” back then. It was partly because of the mighty combination of the books and movies that left a deep impression on us. However, when I got a bit older. A friend of mine recommended me to read another magic novel, by Tolkien. The Lord of the Rings is an epic high fantasy novel written by English author Tolkien. The story began as as equel(续集,continuation)to Tolkien's 1937 fantasy novel, The Hobbit, but it eventually developed into a much larger work. Thousands of years before the events of the novel, the Dark Lord Sauron had forged the One Ring to rule those who wear them: the leaders of Men, Elves and Dwarves. He was later vanquished(被征服,conquered) in battle by an alliance of Elves and Men. Sauron lost his physical form and powerful ring in that battle. Over two thousand years later, the Ring was found. A fellowship was established by men, elves, wizards, hobbits and dwarves. They were responsible for destroying this ring. In this book I can learn a serious writing attitude from the author. He did enormous(非常多的,a lot of) researches about the geography and design of middle earth's history and languages, which made this novel a real world for readers. The major thing I that I learnt from this book is the importance of friendship and team work. I think everyone in a group has a common aim and stick together, there is nothing they can’t conquer no matter how tough it seemed at the beginning. In really life, we should also place more value on the team work and friend because we alone are too weak and powerless to achieve something huge but by helping other and being helped we could do thing that is beyond our capabilities.
