I think hard work is more important than natural talent.

The successful recognize their limitations and this drives them on to never quit. It’s a self-propelling engine that keeps on churning as they get better, smarter and closer to success. We’ve all heard that hard work is the key to success.

It is often said that the “profoundly gifted” still have an edge over peers who have less natural talent but are perhaps more dedicated to improving their skills. It's much better to rely on hard work than to rely on talent. This is why even naturally talented athletes put hours and hours of effort into practice and the refinement of their skills.
