Benedict这个词有意思叫做"v. 祝福"。怎么是祝福呢？别急，来拆拆你就知道了。Bene+dict：dict前面我们已经讲过了，是"说"的意思。前面的bene-是一个前缀，表示"好的"。到这里还没有感觉的同学来看看benefit，我们都很熟悉了吧，两个意思，名词是"利益，好处"；动词是"从…获益"，用的时候要加介词from。

benedict我们就能很明显的知道了吧？就是"说好话"的意思，这不就是"祝福"嘛！我们要有举一反三的能力OK！知道了动词，就要知道名词，这是benediction。GOOD！对了，刚刚说到了benefit，再多补充一句，要注意了，这个词在写作中是比较好的表示"优点，好处"的词汇，当然还有其他的3个，之后会讲到的。

注意它的形容词形式，不要写错是beneficial，有益处的，有好处的，常用到的词组是be beneficial to…注意，以后再用到好，别再第一个想good了，下一次试试这个，用着挺爽的。这个词特别特别的重要！

Bene-加在前面再变！beneficent，这个词的意思是"慈善的"。很明显，各个部分拆分一下：bene好，fic表示"做"+ent形容词后缀，合起来的意思就是"做好事"这不就是"慈善的"吗？fic变一下，成为fact，变形方法之前已经说过了，出来的词benefactor，这个事做好事的人，嘿，就是赞助者，再来一个名词，benefaction，这个是慈善，恩惠，名词。

还有呢，benevolent意思是adj.好意的。只看看里面的vol就可以了，vol来自于一个will，will不要单纯滴以为是表示将来时态中的"将来"的意思。之前讲过了字母V跟W相通，但是在高级词汇有一个意思叫做n.意志，你看，有一个常用的词组，就是be willing to do…是愿意干…那不愿意就是unwilling哈~ 那的意思就显而易见了：bene好的+vol意志+ent的，那就是"好意的"。
