The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology will underscore innovations in the sector to enhance its core competitiveness and promote the consumption of information products and services, as well as deep integration between industrialization and informationization.

在过去三年内，中国信息工业维持稳定发展，手机、电脑和彩电的出口处于世界领先地位。随着物联网，云计算和大数据等新技术的出现，信息工业面临着新的增长机遇。

工业和信息化部将加大信息领域的创新力度，提高信息产业的核心竞争力，促进信息产品和服务的消费，以及工业化和信息化的深度融合。

【讲解】

文中的core competitiveness就是“核心竞争力”的意思。核心竞争力是指能够长期获得竞争优势的能力，是企业所特有的、能经得起时间考验的、具有延展性，并且是竞争对手难以模仿的技术或能力。core作为名词，意思是核心、中心，既可以是果核，例如：an apple core 苹果核;也可以指抽象意义上的“核心(信念、价值观等)”，例如：the core of a problem 问题的要害。常用短语to the core 意为“彻底、十足”。

此外，文中出现的物联网(Internet of Things)，指物物相连的互联网，是新一代信息技术的重要组成部分。
